I'm a sophomore in college, looking to (finally) get fit. I've been through a lot already so calling this page one is a little silly, but its never too late to start over! Tomorrow I go home for my winter break, and I'll be home for over a month. I'm taking this break as my opportunity to get serious about getting fit.
Here are my goals:
1. Eat Clean. I know its a huge difference from what I eat now (ie: complete junk!!), but the time has come to go clean. I already don't eat gluten (I'm not celiac but I am gluten intolerant and when I eat it I get super sick), so I mainly have to cut out sugar. Which is going to be so hard, but I know its the right choice. I don't like being addicted to sugar and so emotionally attached to it as well. I should use food as fuel for my body and not as a comfort blanket.
2. Work out, and NOT just do cardio. I always see stuff about how important weight training is, and have yet to try. Here's to hoping I go past the ellipticals and treadmills and into the scary see of free weights!
3. Be Happy/not go cray cray. I don't want to become obsessed. I've been the weight myself 3 times a day count eery calorie girl before and I do not like her. I hate her to be completely honest. She sucks. She's a crazy psycho bitch and she's awful. I also don't want to be the chubby, lethargic, rely on sugar for every meal of the day girl. I want a nice peaceful balance like the pretty girls on instagram have.
Those are my goals! Eat well, try the weights, and find my inner peaceful fit guru goddess. Let's start off 2015 (a little early) the right way.
